Romp Around Town

I recently got a day of my classes cancelled and I adventured downtown Jacksonville with my lovely French friend Anne Lise. I'm a sucker for exploring and scouting out my surroundings and I'm silly for adventures like Flapjack. Downtown was more business oriented than we expected, but it didn't deter the enjoyment to see the city. I enjoyed the beautiful view of the huge Main Street Bridge, Treaty Oak Park, and the Friendship Fountain. Also, I know I'm new to seeing tall buildings, but if the structures I saw weren't skyscrapers they definitely were sky-scratchers. I saw them all as magnificent architectural structures I may never get to see back home.

About one month ago I moved from the Bahamas to the United States to complete my degree, and its been a mix of emotions. Sometimes I feel intense melancholy and nostalgia while other times I'm enthusiastic and optimistic as if I could help make Pluto a planet again. My first week was the worse I got completely soaked in the rained riding my bike back home, I was so late for one of my classes by the time I figured out where it was it had ended, I sat on the floor for one my classes because I arrived late and every seat was full, and the list goes on. Nevertheless, I've been more than blessed enough to persevere and overcome my current first world problems.

These pants I picked up from H&M are the bomb and I really try to stop myself from wearing them all the time since I got them. They thread a thin line between pajamas and being casual. If you want a pants to look like a trendy mc hammer and do a cheerleading pike these ones got your back.

  1. Good day! I could have sworn I've been to this site before but after looking at many of the articles I realized it's new to me. Anyways, I'm certainly happy I found it and I'll be book-marking it and checking back often! outlook 365 email login
